Our Team

The deLeeuw Family

Clint and Caroline deLeeuw purchased the farm property just outside Diamond City two years ago with a vision of starting a new modern equestrian facility.

They saw the need for a facility that puts equine care, nutrition and health as its top priority and accommodate all disciplines of riding.

With a daughter that has a passion for show jumping they’d love to see this community grow here in Southern Alberta and are hoping that by providing an on staff coach and a new modern facility it will provide a fun, encouraging environment for others to enjoy the sport as well.

Being part of the livestock industry in southern Alberta they also realized the need for a better place that would allow local western riders, trainers, pleasure riders or newcomers to have a local space to ride at a affordable cost.

Managed by a team of professional staff they want to focus on all aspects of equine care, management, boarding or simply a place to gather with friends to ride.

In the summer of 2024 Diamond City Equestrian hosted a pro bull riding event and had an attendance of nearly 3000 people, this illuminated the fact that there is strong community support and interest in the equine world and they look forward to hosting many more events in the future.
